Ben Stuijvenberg (drums, vox, samples)
Giovanni de Reus (git/vox/synth)
Jeremy Lammerts van Bueren (bas, vox)
Dynamic, ‘90s and alt-rock-influenced pop music touched by pop, funk soul and blues. Centered around drummer Ben Stuijvenberg, Sway came together in Haarlem in 2015. They soon had a lot of gigs on big stages but had a changing line-up, until the end of 2021 singer/songwriter Giovanni joined Ben and Jeremy. Due to some legal issues the band soon changed their name to "Days of Sway".
This fresh chapter finds the band recapturing the raw emotion and unpolished rock spirit! They are noticed by some local radio stations, followed by VPRO3voor12 and Kink FM. After this, they can show off their skills at the Pinguin Radio showcases during ESNS in Groningen. A new highlight came in the form of a supporting act for Dutch heroes and veterans Bintangs. The train slowly picks up speed, continues to rumble along and never stops...
Three guys, one band. With tight songwriting, timeless seventies-style je ne sais quoi and a delicate and unpredictable fusion of rebellious rock, pop emotion and indie panache the trio redefines themselves in each song and with each performance.
In the meantime, the trio- Gio, Jeremy and Ben, have exploded as a buzzing sensation in the sonic tradition of power trios. Capable of throttling rockers and beautiful ballads, both with crisp vocal harmonies, laconic vocals, and defiant cryptic literate lyrics.
